Branch Monitor animation (2018)

Role: Art Director + Graphic & Motion Designer

Task: Educate. Create an animation that teaches users how to correctly endorse their check to deposit using our app.

Deliverables: 

• 9:16 monitor animation

• 16:9: monitor animation with music

WireFrame

This was the wireframe pitched before production started. Unlike my other animations, which usually start as 16:9, this began as a 9:16.

This was to accommodate the orientation of the back of a check as well as the shape of the mobile device. 

After taking a workshop to improve my process as a motion designer, I began using colored pens to illustrate different aspects of motion. 

This came in handy when making the pitch with my manager before executing.
